A new online pharmacy and medication delivery service has launched to support the healthcare needs of people in Frodsham.

Frodsham Pharmacy, run by Christian Logue, is a distance selling pharmacy, meaning that prescriptions – including refrigerated medication - are sent free of charge to all WA6 and WA7 homes, rather than being collected.

You can order your NHS prescriptions over the phone or through an online Frodsham Pharmacy account, which will allow you to manage your medication at any time of the day or night.

Residents can also visit the pharmacy for services and consultations by appointment, or get in touch over the phone for medical advice or information about their prescription. Phone lines are open Monday to Friday and Saturday morning for emergency calls.

As well as these services, Frodsham Pharmacy offers an online shop for essentials such as vitamins, cough syrup and hay fever relief.

Frodsham Pharmacy aims to be proactive in solving issues with your surgery when they arise, ensuring medicines and services are available when you need them.

"The opportunity to provide a new local pharmacy and healthcare service, at a time where the health of our community has never been so important, is really exciting," Christian told Frodsham Nub News.

"I'm committed to providing a personalised service to ensure everyone in our local area has access to the healthcare advice and medicines they need - delivered right to their front door.

"We all have busy lives so I hope my free NHS prescription delivery for all in our local community will help keep our must vulnerable safe during these testing times."

Christian has over 20 years' experience in pharmacy and healthcare and has a particular interest in mental health, respiratory conditions, cardiovascular conditions and diabetes.

"Although originally I am from the north west of Ireland, I have lived in Frodsham for over 10 years and when I'm not working, you'll find me on the local football pitches, cycling in Delamere Forest or taking my two children for waffles and ice cream in the town!" he said.
