Now that lockdown has lifted, and the rule of six applies once again for socialising outdoors, Hob Hey Wood Friends Group are finally able to continue with their mammoth tree planting plans!

On Sunday (6th December), the last day of National Tree Week, the Friends will be planting 220 trees in the wood.

In order to comply with the rule of six, the planting will take place in two sessions, one at 10am, the other at 12pm.

However, participation is not limited to the Hob Hey Wood Friends Group! Any Frodsham residents wishing to get involved can contact Chairman Mark O'Sullivan via Facebook, or email [email protected].
