Helsby receives Art Council funding for 'Art of Here' project

Helsby Parish Council has received a grant of up to £11,000 from the Arts Council for its 'Helsby the Art of Here' community project.

The first tranche of funding has been spent on a display screen showing images of local creative projects.

This has been installed in JTO Vintage and the Old Bank Tea Rooms, and has recently been showing pictures from past Ho Ho Helsby celebrations.

Helsby the Art of Here is a project several years in the making, and is aimed at creating and showcasing work that is unique to Helsby.
