From the editor's desk: My Nub News highlights

In September 2020, I published my first story about Frodsham and Helsby.
Fast forward 11 months, two national lockdowns, and over 1,000 articles, I am now writing my very last piece for Frodsham Nub News.
I have really enjoyed meeting and getting to know all the wonderful organisations and businesses that make this community so special.
From Weekend Walks to council meetings to Up Close features about furniture shops, brownie bakers and many more, I have tried to get to the heart of all the local goings-on, and I hope you have found my coverage useful!
Here are some of my highlights:
- Visiting Castle Park Arts Centre's wonderful exhibitions, from Gillian Robertson's Disappearing World to Sue Marsden and Sophie Parr's Our Shifting Landscape.
- Seeing Frodsham and Helsby reopen following the dark days of lockdown.
- Covering May's local elections with candidate interviews and a live-streamed hustings. This wouldn't have been possible without the help of Frodsham's brilliant Methodist minister, Andrew Emison!
- Being treated to sneak peeks of Frodsham Players performances while preparing my preview articles.
- Finding out about all the amazing projects being spearheaded by members of the local community, from the Frombles to Kingsley St John's wildflower mural to Helen Watson's Saltworks Kindness Café.
Thank you to everyone who has read my articles; I really appreciate it.
Goodbye for now!
