Newly formed litter picking group, the Frodsham Wombles, is set to represent the town in the Great British Spring Clean, which will take place in communities across the country between 28 May and 13 June.
The 'Frombles' were asked to take part by the Environment and Communities department of Cheshire West and Chester Council, who will provide any relevant supplies and transport for Frodsham's keen litter pickers.
The group will be taking part in two communal rubbish clearance events, one on Wednesday 2 June from 6pm-7pm (venue to be confirmed), and the other on Saturday 12 June from 10am-12pm at Frodsham Marsh.
Local volunteers can also spend some time in their own neighbourhood if they cannot make these times.
The Frombles are encouraging anyone who is interested in joining in to pledge a number of litter picking hours, to help kickstart Frodsham's Great British Spring Clean!
