Mike Amesbury has agreed to be covered head to toe in slime, to raise money for Children in Need.

This Donate4Slime event, taking place on Friday 13th November, will see 10 buckets of gunge poured over the Weaver Vale MP on a live stream which people must pay to watch.

Mike said: "These are tough times for everyone and that's seen charity donations drop by quite some margin this year, so I'm happy to do anything I can to help.

"I like a laugh as much as the next person and I'm sure there'll be plenty of people who will pay to see an MP get slimed. The more the better for charity!"
