We're back with our Friday Frodsham Heroes feature, and this week we are celebrating the inspiring work of local resident, Pauline Lowrie.

For many months now, Pauline has been coordinating donations of clothes, kitchen supplies, baby bottles, toys, toiletries and more to refugees staying in a hotel and houses in the local area.

With assistance from other volunteers and thanks to generous offerings the people of Frodsham, there is now a healthy supply of essential items that can be used to help families who have experienced trauma and displacement to begin rebuilding their lives.

Pauline was nominated by two people, who spoke about "her outstanding commitment" to supporting others.

Thank you Pauline!

If you would like to donate clothes or other supplies to these families, please contact Pauline on Facebook.

You can read more about Pauline's work in an article she wrote for Nub News in October last year.
