Covid-19 rates remain 'suppressed' in Frodsham and Helsby, although they have begun to creep upwards elsewhere in the borough.
In all of Frodsham, Helsby, Kingsley, Manley and Alvanley, fewer than five new cases were reported in the week leading up to 28 May.
However, in Cheshire West as a whole, the infection rate has now risen from 4.7 to 23.6 per 100,000, with case numbers growing slightly in Frodsham's neighbouring area of Comberbach, Acton Bridge & Whitley.
In the last seven days, 164 positive tests have been recorded in the borough, a sevenfold increase on the previous week.
In spite of this rise, Cheshire West's rolling rate still sits below the national average of 32.1 per 100,000 people.
As of 27 May, 747,206 people in the NHS Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group area had received at least one dose of the Covid vaccine, with 86 per cent of 40-44-year-olds included in that number.
