Castle Park Arts Centre are now taking entries for their 35th annual open art exhibition, which will run from November 7th until December 22nd.

Both amateur and professional artists, young and old can submit up to three pieces of their original work, ranging from paintings and prints to textiles, jewellery and sculpture. The items judged to be most artistically impressive will appear in the final exhibition.

This is a chance for local artists to display and put their work on sale, as well as being entered for cash prizes awarded to outstanding pieces by an independent judging panel. This year, the prizes are sponsored by Kash 22, and Northwich Art Shop owner Phil Bower.

From Wednesday (16th), you will be able to view Jackie Sumerfield's 'Decorated Books' and Clipped-in's 'Beyond Landscape' at the Arts Centre gallery. ReMix Creatives' 'Material Matters' exhibition and Kath Kerry's 'Catching the Light' will still be on display until Saturday.

Due to Covid restrictions, Castle Park is currently limiting its exhibitions to the ground floor, where a one-way system is in place. Visitors to the gallery are requested to wear face masks.

Contact [email protected] for further details of the exhibition entry process. Applications must be submitted by Saturday 17th October.
