By-election called in Waterside ward

It has been announced that an election will be held to fill a Frodsham Town Council casual vacancy in the Waterside ward.
This is because Cheshire West and Chester Council have received 10 valid requests for an election from ward residents.
The vote, along with a by-election in Lakes ward, is planned for 6 May 2021, although there is a strong possibility that this year's local elections will be postponed due to Covid-19.
The Waterside ward casual vacancy arose last week, following the resignation of Councillor Lucy Sumner.
