Local gymnastics academy, AK Elite, has announced that it will soon be returning to Frodsham Leisure Centre for the first time this year, following months of Covid-induced delays.
The club will now be back at the centre in September - with exact dates to be confirmed soon - welcoming members old and new to its children's gymnastics sessions.
AK Elite aims to develop children's skills and sporting ambition, while putting a smile on their face and creating a fun environment for all.
"I am an ex-GB gymnast," says AK Elite coach, Keegan, "and my dad Andy is a fab ex-head coach for disability sport, so we make a good team!"
Starting with the fundamentals, including how to walk and hold oneself like a gymnast, AK Elite beginners will be able to progress through basic rolls, shapes and jumps and all the way up to international competitions if they wish.
The opportunity to compete is open to every child, whether they have been doing gymnastics six weeks or six years.
"While other clubs only let certain abilities compete, we let every child," Keegan says. "We give them the same opportunities regardless of age or ability."
In fact, AK Elite recently announced that it will be hosting a 'Grand Prix series' of competitions, where gymnasts can show off their newly learnt skills to their families.
