As the number of Covid-19 infection rates continue to rise across the county, members of the public are being encouraged to find other ways to celebrate the spooky festivities safely this Halloween.
That's the message from Cheshire Police, who also want to dissuade people from trick or treating on Halloween night to avoid people mixing in large groups or knocking on the doors of those who are self-isolating.
Cheshire West is currently in tier 2 of the government's Covid restrictions, which means households are not permitted to mix indoors and are limited to the rule of six outdoors, while adhering to social distancing measures.
So, with traditional celebrations, such as parties or large gatherings, now out of the question, we put together a list of activities you can still enjoy this Halloween.
1. A Trip to the Cinema
Chester's Storyhouse is showing a series of Halloween films at its drive-in cinema, Moonlight Drive. These include Hocus Pocus, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Coco. Click here for more details. Book now to avoid disappointment!2. Arley Hall's Spooktacular Garden Trail
