A host of Frodsham businesses are supporting Runcorn Rowing Club's new clubhouse fundraiser through a voucher scheme.

The Club has been offered a range of rewards by individual members and local businesses, which people can receive in exchange for their donations.

Those wishing to give to this cause can therefore choose a product or service to receive in return for their pledge.

On the clubhouse crowdfunding page, you can browse through offers from businesses including Devonshire Bakery, Coward's, Robert Gleave garden centre, Home & Beauty, brew and tucker, Lusso, Bene Gelateria, Cars 'n Bikes and Charles John.

Runcorn Rowing Club have been working with architects on preliminary designs for this ambitious clubhouse project, which includes larger changing facilities, a community social area, kitchen, adaptive toilets, gym and additional boat storage.

The boathouse will replace the existing changing and storage rooms, which are old and in need of urgent repairs.

The Club raised just over £10,000 over Christmas through its virtual 'row to Australia event', and hope to add £5,000 to that total with this latest phase of fundraising.
