We all know that life in the age of Covid has been difficult and dark: the worst of times for many of us. But through its challenges we have also seen the best of human kindness and community spirit, which has definitely been in plentiful supply in Frodsham!

Recently, we reported on the kind-hearted volunteers who have given up their time to litter pick in various spots around Frodsham, and next week we will be celebrating the work of one of our local care workers.

We love writing about the valuable contributions of individuals who give to their community without expecting anything in return, and we would like to hear more about them!

This is where the Frodsham Heroes idea comes in. There are so many generous and community-minded people carrying out inspirational work in Frodsham, and we would love to share their stories with our readers.

So, if you have a friend or family member who deserves to be recognised for the work they do or the example they set, you can tell us about them by emailing [email protected] or by sending a direct message to our Facebook page.

Maybe you know a selfless Frodsham and District Open Hands volunteer, or perhaps you want to champion the vital work of local supermarket staff. Whatever it is, please let us know!
