This week's six mile walk, with its mix of woodland, lane, river and field, is perfect for this time of year, its route peppered with the jewel-like colours of spring wildflowers.
Beginning in Kingsley, it dips down over brook after pretty woodland brook, heading with them towards the River Weaver.
Now that the lockdown relaxation has begun, opportunities for Easter activities and days out are starting to open up around Frodsham.

A new refreshments hut is about to open at Forest Hills Hotel in Overton.
'Coffee on the Hill' will welcome its first customers this Easter weekend, opening from 11am until 4pm each day from tomorrow (Friday 2 April).

Three in five Cheshire and Merseyside's over-16 population have had their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
That's according to the latest NHS England data up to March 28, which also reveals that 95 per cent of Cheshire's over-50 residents have also had dose one.

Frodsham residents have raised concerns about road safety and accessibility around Manley Road, after a sign was put up banning 'unauthorised vehicles' on the track towards Snidley Moor from Shepherd's Cottage.
Snidley Moor, with its beautiful woodland, is a favourite destination for local walkers, horse riders and cyclists alike, with users having parked their cars at the end of this track for decades.
Over Easter weekend, Frodsham and Helsby's larger supermarket stores will be operating on temporarily reduced hours.
• Frodsham Morrisons will be open as normal from 7am until 10pm on Good Friday and Saturday. It will be closed on Easter Sunday but open again from 7am until 7pm on Easter Monday.
Frodsham Library will be reopening on reduced hours for browsing and public computer access from Monday 12 April.
Reservations will resume on 12 April and loan periods will be extended until 17 May. Libraries are also fine-free for under 13s now. Children aged 0 to 12 years will no longer be charged for any overdue items and any pre-existing late charges will be removed from their accounts.

Local residents are being urged to stick to the rules ahead of the Easter bank holiday weekend following the latest relaxation of coronavirus restrictions.
Since 29 March, people across England have been able to socialise outdoors while following the rule of six or meeting with another household – including in private gardens.
