The organiser of a petition calling for upgrades to Saltworks Farm skate park is asking members of the community to help her make the area a more secure and inclusive space for people to enjoy.
Helen Watson has been visiting Saltworks to engage with its younger users and deter antisocial behaviour every night for the past two months, and now feels in need of further support from other residents.
Felicity Davies has been elected unopposed to represent Lakes ward on Frodsham Town Council.
Ms Davies was the only candidate who stood for a by-election to fill two vacancies on Lakes ward, and has therefore been appointed without any need for a vote.
We all know that life in the age of Covid has been difficult and dark: the worst of times for many of us. But through its challenges we have also seen the best of human kindness and community spirit, which has definitely been in plentiful supply in Frodsham!
Recently, we reported on the kind-hearted volunteers who have given up their time to litter pick in various spots around Frodsham, and next week we will be celebrating the work of one of our local care workers.

Nearly two-thirds of Cheshire's adult population have now had their Covid-19 vaccine, new data shows.
The statistics, from NHS England, show that to April 4, 388,487 residents have had their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine — out of a population of 596,446 — representing 65 per cent of the county's over-16s.

As well as non-essential shops and outdoor hospitality, Monday 12 April also marks the opening of the new Forest Holidays cabins at Delamere Forest.
From this date, single-household groups will be allowed to visit self-contained holiday accommodation, including this new collection of 66 eco-sensitive cabins, which are 'designed to allow guests to immerse themselves in nature and connect with the natural world'.
Helsby Police have this week deployed a Trucam speed gun on Chester Road near the Shell garage, looking out for drivers travelling above the 30 mph speed limit.
In one hour, the camera caught 46 speeding vehicles, with one car moving at 45 mph.
