Frodsham Cricket Club Sunday XI's won their last game of the season on Sunday

Frodsham Sunday XI's season ended with a beautiful September afternoon and a wonderful game of cricket at Runcorn CC on September 13th. It was the annual Matt Shaw Memorial Trophy 30-over game.

Runcorn batted first, with Matt Williamson 51* and Jim Morrell 38*, playing really well and captain Steve Bebbington hitting a huge 6 from the last ball to see them finish up on 143-5.

Chris at the end of his impressive mission

A Frodsham man has walked the whole of the Sandstone Trail and back in just 33 hours, raising over £1,000 in a bid to raise awareness about the little known Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS).

Chris Webster decided to undertake this challenge to help educate people about this rare condition, from which his wife Clára suffered during her twin pregnancy.

It has been discovered that the number of books borrowed from Frodsham Library decreased by nearly 20% between the years 2015/16 and 2019/20, while its budget increased.

In response to Freedom of Information requests by Frodsham Nub News, Cheshire West and Chester council reported that, year on year, withdrawals from the town's library fell steadily from 75,384 to 61,602, with the value of library fines also dropping from £3,424.18 to £2,099.03.
