A new consultation has been launched by Cheshire West and Chester Council to look at how adult learning disability and autism services are provided in the borough and how they can be improved.

Cheshire West and Chester Council and NHS Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group want to hear from people with learning disabilities and/or autism, who are 16 years of age and over, their families and carers.

Another casual vacancy has arisen on Frodsham Town Council, this time in Waterside ward.

This comes as a result of the resignation of independent member, Lord Frank Pennington, who sat on the Council for 45 years and served twice as Frodsham's Mayor.

On Saturday afternoon (19 June), firefighters was called to Ashton Road outside Manley to tackle a fire in the Delamere Forest area.

A fire engine from Chester attended the scene at 3:52pm to find around seven trees reportedly alight.
