The obvious answer is probably 'nothing'.
As we heard last night (Saturday 31st October), Thursday 5th November will mark the introduction of a new month-long lockdown.
All non-essential retail and hospitality businesses must close, meaning that local events are, admittedly, looking rather thin on the ground.
However, we have put together a list of some of the online and outdoor activities that might brighten up your day as the nights draw in and autumn turns to winter.
Manley Virtual Gin Tasting – Friday 13th November
In this 35 minute virtual gin tasting session, the founder of Pinkster Gin will tease your senses and tickle your tastebuds as he guides you through 5 different drinks at 7.30pm. From the Gimlet cocktail to the Hedgpig fruit gin Liqueur there's something for everyone!
To order your tasting kit please contact [email protected] - kits are £30 for 2 people.
If whisky is more your thing, The Bears Paw is offering an online whisky masterclass on Thursday 19th November.
'Stumbling Around in the Dark' by Robert Harvey: Frodsham and District Photographic Society – Monday 16th November
During this evening of photographic exploration, photographer Robert Harvey will show you how to produce stunning images of the night sky with an ordinary, digital single lens reflex camera. He will then recount tales of his travels across four continents in search of solar eclipses.
The talk will take place from 7:30pm – 9:30pm, via Zoom.
