Here's a handy list of some of the activities and events taking place in Frodsham in the month of May.

Artisan in the Park – Castle Park House lawn
Saturday 1 May, 1pm-7pm
From 1pm until 7pm today (1 May), Artisan Green will be hopping across the road to Castle Park House lawn, where they will treat their guests to musical entertainment from Charlie Reader, Adam Williams and Misschief Acoustic.
Meat and vegetarian barbecue sets will also be available to buy from Artisan Green's pop-up bar, from which a range of cocktails – from 'Frodsham Fizz' to 'Castle-politans' – will be flowing.
Although the music will end at 7pm on Saturday, guests will be able to buy cocktails for as long as they want. Artisan Green will be accepting both cash and card payment for food and drink.
Frodsham Festival of Walks
Frodsham Festival of Walks is back and is doing things differently this year. The Festival runs throughout May, national walking month, with eight self-led walks varying in length from one to ten miles.
The theme of the Festival of Walks is #RediscoverWhereYouLive. The walks focus on Frodsham, Helsby and lower reaches of the River Weaver.

Until Sunday 16 May The Association Of Animal Artists presents a diverse collection of stunning original art created by its members. From the smallest insects through to the largest mammals the AAA prides itself on celebrating all animal life, encouraging members to explore their passion for the natural world via any style or traditional medium. Starting Monday 17 May Mindfulness in Nature aims to promote full immersion in the natural environment, especially for people with mild to moderate mental health issues who would benefit from the stress, depression and anxiety-relieving mechanisms offered by the course. Monday 17 MayIf the relevant criteria are met, the government will look at continuing the lockdown relaxation in May.
This means that most legal restrictions on meeting others outdoors will be lifted - although gatherings of over 30 people will remain illegal. Indoors, the Rule of 6 or 2 households will apply - we will keep under review whether it is safe to increase this.
Indoor hospitality, hotels, cinemas and theatres will be allowed to reopen, and weddings with up to 30 people will be able to take place.
Teddy Bear's Picnics – Saltworks Farm Playing Fields
Save Our Skate Park petition organiser, Helen Watson, plus several other members of the community, are running regular Kindness Café and Teddy Bears' Picnic events at Saltworks.
