What's On in Frodsham: June 2021

The 'Frombles' Great British Spring Clean litter pick event

Wednesday 2 June, 6pm-7pm

Tomorrow (Wednesday), the Frodsham Wombles will be meeting at the Daniel Adamson by the swing bridge to complete the first of their Great British Spring Clean pledge events. The group will be continuing to work on the footpath under the M56.

Popfit – Helsby Community Sports Club

Saturday 5 June onwards, 9:30am-10:30am

The first of a new community class which combines dance fitness, old-school aerobics and toning.

Helsby Stay & Play is a new local baby and toddler group, specialising in ages 0-4 years.

Is your pooch looking to make new friends now that inter-household mixing is allowed?

Frodsham/Helsby Dog Walking Community are organising a play date for Labradors, Doodles and other dogs that are happy with these breeds.

Gong Meditation with Wellbeing Wave – Castle Park Arts Centre

Monday 7 June

The gong as a meditation tool has been around for thousands of years. The sound-waves can interrupt the brainwave patterns of your busy, stressed mind to allow access to the more semi-conscious dream like brainwave states similar to that just before sleep. Vibrations from the gong can ripple through the body and release emotional blockages and stress.

Lie back, relax and let the hypnotic sounds of the gong wash over you…

Sarah's exhibition, Opening Up, stages a journey through her personal experience of the coronavirus pandemic, from the confinement of lockdown to the places and things she now looks forward to revisiting.

Inside Outside by The Eddisbury Artists – Castle Park Arts Centre

Inside Outside, which combines domestic and indoor scenes with depictions of landscapes local and far-flung, represents the return of long-standing local group the Eddisbury Artists, after a year of Covid-induced separation.

From the Water's Edge by Andrew Croughton – Castle Park Arts Centre

Andrew Croughton presents his first solo exhibition, From the Water's Edge, a series of striking watercolour paintings that capture the swift movement, the soft plumage and the eagle eyes of some of Britain's most beautiful birdlife.

Castle Park Live Music Festival
