Now that lockdown is coming to an end and Christmas is approaching, we are pleased to see more events creeping into Frodsham's activity calendar!

Here are a few of them:

Open Exhibition - Castle Park Arts Centre

Including artwork from professional and amateur artists alike, Castle Park's 35th Annual Open Exhibition has been waiting patiently through lockdown for you to be able to visit!

The exhibition will now run until February 2021, so there are plenty of opportunities to take a wander through its beautiful displays!

Callie Yoga Online Classes

While her in-person classes are on pause, Callie is uploading a series of online sessions to her website. Varying in length, difficulty and focus, they are a great way of practising yoga at home.

'Not Quite Light' – Frodsham and District Photographic Society – 7th December

Join Frodsham and District Photographic Society for an online presentation by Salford-based photographer, Simon Buckley.

Simon's work considers themes of transition, particularly in the urban environment. In his 'Not Quite Light' project, he examines themes of heritage and regeneration at dawn and dusk.

The talk will run from 7:30pm – 9:30pm.

Nordic Walking - Delamere Forest

Nordic Walking is a full-body exercise that's easy on the joints and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It also has the added benefit of burning 20-40% more calories than normal walking!

Delamere Forest's Nordic walks are led by a trained instructor and cater for all abilities and fitness levels.

Ho Ho Grotto – Ho Ho Helsby – Wednesday 16th – Tuesday 22nd December

Santa is coming to JTO Vintage! The Ho Ho Helsby working group, together with The Rotary Club of Frodsham and Helsby, have made sure that Father Christmas can come and chat to local children. This is one of the only in-person Santa's grottos this season so don't miss out!

Booking is essential, and there are slots available on 16th, 17th, 18th, 21st and 22nd December.

Father Christmas Zoom Sessions – Christmas in Frodsham – Saturday 19th-Sunday 20th December

Social distancing isn't going to stop Santa from hearing all about Frodsham's Christmas wishes!

While reserving their Zoom meeting with Santa, parents can include important present tips in a secret message.
