An application to convert unused office space on the first and second floors of 105, Main Street into apartments has been given the go-ahead by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The apartments, which will sit above Artisan Green restaurant and B. Unique hairdressers, will both have two double bedrooms and two bathrooms.

On the other side of the stairwell, an open plan living room and kitchen area will look out onto the street.

The initial application included a proposed roof terrace attached to the first floor property, but following concerns in relation to the amenity impacts, this has now been removed.

There were no objections from Frodsham Town Council, and the Cheshire West case officer responsible for the application advised that the plans did not require prior approval, as they fell under permitted development.
