Two casual vacancies have arisen on Frodsham Town Council Lakes ward.

The positions, which were formerly occupied by Judith and Donna Critchley, will be up for election if any ten electors from the ward write to Cheshire West and Chester Council Returning Officer to request a vote.

If no election is called, then the Town Council will be able to fill the vacancies by co-option.

Now that the former Cllrs Judith and Donna Critchley have stepped down from the Council, and following Mallie Poulton's resignation back in March, the only Councillor left representing Lakes ward is Felicity Davies.

Cllr Davies was elected unopposed to the post in April, and is now serving on the Planning and Policy, Process & Revenue Committees, while acting as the Council's representative on Ince Marshes Air Quality Forum and Frodsham Youth Association.
