Thrifty's convenience store in Helsby has announced that it will now be accepting donations for West Cheshire Foodbank.
In a message on their Facebook page, Thrifty's said: "We like to be of the community and to look after others less fortunate in our local area."
As of January 14, West Cheshire Foodbank's most needed items are UHT milk, long life fruit juice, small bottles of cordial, tinned potatoes, instant custard, instant mash, cup-a-soup and carrier bags.
Items for Runcorn and District Foodbank can also be donated at Helsby Tesco, Frodsham Morrisons and Sainsbury's and Guide HQ on Ship Street from 1pm to 3pm on Fridays.
According to their latest appeal, Runcorn and District Foodbank are currently in need of shampoo, custard, sponge puddings and rice pudding.
Both organisations provide help through food bank vouchers, which you can obtain over the phone. To find out more about getting help, visit the Runcorn and District or West Cheshire Foodbank webpages.
