Saltworks' latest Teddy Bear's Picnic will take place today (Wednesday) at 2pm, weather permitting.

With teddy bear prizes for children taking part, these events aim to raise funds for further community activities at the playing fields.

Organiser, Helen Watson, will also be running a pop-up Kindness Café with hot and cold drinks, snacks, and sandwiches.

This afternoon, Frodsham's litter-picking Wombles will be offered free drinks in return for their kind service to the town.

Residents wishing to take part are encouraged to bring along a basketball, rounders or cricket sets to make the most of Saltworks' open space.

"Let's see the community enjoying Saltworks playing fields," Helen said, "Please support our Kindness Cafe!"
