The Artisan Green restaurant team are making their final preparations for this weekend's exciting Artisan in the Park event: an afternoon of live music, cocktails and good food.

From 1pm until 7pm on Saturday (1 May), Artisan Green will be hopping across the road to Castle Park House lawn, where they will treat their guests to musical entertainment from Charlie Reader, Adam Williams and Misschief Acoustic.

Meat and vegetarian barbecue sets will also be available to buy from Artisan Green's pop-up bar, from which a range of cocktails – from 'Frodsham Fizz' to 'Castle-politans' – will be flowing.

The restaurant will also be offering perfectly positioned picnic blankets for people to hire for two hour slots. Priced at £40, this package will include two bottles of prosecco and waiter service.

Although these blankets must be reserved in advance, the event itself is open to anybody who wishes to drop in, and no booking is needed.

"It's going to be an amazing day," said Artisan Green manager, Ethan Kay. "We've been thinking since lockdown started that we wanted to create something special for the people of Frodsham and if this is successful we will definitely do it again in the summer, perhaps in partnership with other local businesses.

"We've already had live music from Charlie and Adam outside the restaurant, and the phone was ringing off the hook with people wanting to come along.

"Unfortunately we don't have enough space to have everyone, so we thought it would be great idea to take our customers over to the park where we can invite as many people as possible!"

Although the music will end at 7pm on Saturday, guests will be able to buy cocktails for as long as they want. Artisan Green will be accepting both cash and card payment for food and drink.
