The Kingsley Players have announced summer dates for the performance of two one-act plays, originally billed for January.
Between Thursday 10 and Saturday 12 June, the Players will debut Alice's Quest for Wonderland, written by award-winning writer and director, Lynn Pegler.
Turning the focus away from Alice and onto her locally born creator, this play explores the real-life relationship between Lewis Carroll and the girl who inspired one of our best loved stories.
The three man show will be performed by James Partington, Matt Jones and Lynn herself, in a socially distanced auditorium.
Alice's Quest for Wonderland will then be followed by Jim Cartwright's bitter-sweet comedy, TWO, which will run between Thursday 24 and Saturday 26 June.
This two-hander, performed by Neil Silcock and Sue Elliott, transports you to a 1980s night at the pub, exploring the values and relationships that underpinned - and underpin - working class communities in the North of England.
