It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas: Helsby's tree is all of a twinkle!

The Ho Ho Helsby working group brought a little Christmas sparkle to the village tonight, as it switched on its impressive lights.
Ho Ho Helsby's Dianne Walker said: "Helsby's Christmas lights were shining brightly tonight in the village that has a history of celebrating Christmas in style, with their legendary Ho Ho Helsby festival."
"The festival is postponed for this year, so the Ho Ho Helsby volunteers have created the 'Twinkle Twinkle' campaign to encourage all of the locals to help light up the village in these dark times.
"To kick-start the campaign, the Ho Ho Helsby group's volunteers have raised funds and provided new lights including extra sparkly lights for the village's splendid Christmas fir tree."
