This year, with Covid-19 restrictions making indoor and outdoor gatherings virtually impossible, Frodsham's Remembrance Day services will be looking very different.

Instead of the usual wreath laying ceremony at Frodsham Hill war memorial on 11th November, St Laurence's Rev Elaine will be leading a short service along with other ministers and the Town Council.

This will not be open to the public, but will be recorded and available to watch on the day.

On Sunday 8th November, there will still be a Remembrance Service at St Laurence's, but numbers will be restricted and people wishing to attend must book in advance.

While there will be no ceremony in Kingsley Cemetery on that Sunday, people will still be allowed to visit the memorial if they wish to.
