Ho Ho Halo: Christmas angels arrive in Helsby!

Christmas came early for some Helsby residents this weekend, as Ho Ho Helsby volunteers distributed knitted angels around the village in support of Claire House Hospice.

These Ho Ho Halo gifts, handmade by volunteers, were distributed at random to over 200 households overnight.

Local residents were delighted with their angels, and took to the Ho Ho Helsby Facebook group to thank the volunteers for the "lovely" gesture.

Remembering the village's furry friends, the Ho Ho Helsby group also delivered some surprise presents for local cats and dogs.

"This tradition has proved to be really popular and the photos bring lots of smiles," said Ho Ho Helsby's Dianne Walker.

More angels are for sale in Helsby's Old Bank Tea Rooms, in aid of Claire House Hospice and Matthew Galley's local fund raising campaign.

More details of this can be found on his JustGiving page.
