Have you completed Frodsham WI's Green Hearts Trail yet?

This weekend, Frodsham Women's Institute launched their Green Hearts Trail as part of the national #ShowTheLove campaign, which lobbies for a 'green' economic recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Through their participation in the project, Frodsham WI hope to raise awareness of the challenges of climate change, while encouraging local residents to reduce their impact on the earth.

WI members have hung 75 hearts around Frodsham's green spaces and outside their homes, creating a fun nature trail through the town for you to enjoy.

With hearts waiting to be discovered in Castle Park, Manley Copse and Hob Hey Wood to name just a few places, this is a great excuse to explore our local natural environments.

Frodsham WI will also be posting daily tips for reducing your carbon footprint on their Facebook page.

The trail will run between now and 21 February, during which time the WI ask that you do not move the hearts or take them home.
