A clip from Frodsham Town Council's January Budget Setting meeting has been featured on North West Tonight.

The clip, in which Town Clerk Jo O'Donoghue moves former Councillor Lucy Sumner into the virtual waiting room, was included in a report about a now infamous Handforth Parish Council meeting, which went viral on Friday (5 February).

Ms O'Donoghue's decision to use the waiting room in such a way gave rise to criticism from residents and councillors alike, and led Ms Sumner to resign her Waterside ward post.

Ms O'Donoghue later offered her 'sincere apologies' for her actions, which were described as 'a disgrace' by other councillors.
