In the January edition of our What's On feature, we mentioned Frodsham Root Network's New Year Nature Challenge, which contains a host of different activities to help you get out and about, even in lockdown.

The challenge includes the idea of creating a New Year Bird List by noting down the birds that you see and hear while out walking or exercising.

To help you on your way with this project, Bill Morton – also known as the Frodsham Birder – has written a guide to birding on the Marshes.

Bill's 'Where to Watch Birds on Frodsham Marsh' article suggests a walking route full of handy tips on where and how to spot the area's rich and varied wildlife.

You can read the full article here!

If you are inspired by Bill's article, you can view his regular birding updates on Frodsham Marsh Bird Blog, or by following the Frodsham Birder Twitter or Facebook pages.
