Frodsham is alive and bustling once again and, not surprisingly, pubs and restaurants have topped the list of local residents' post-April 12 destinations.

92 per cent of Frodsham Nub Voice volunteers have said that seeing businesses reopen has made them feel more optimistic about our economic recovery from the pandemic, with 77 per cent of them having paid at least one visit to Frodsham's hospitality venues, shops, hairdressers and beauty salons since lockdown eased.

Special mention was made to Brew + tucker coffee and Ring O' Bells takeaways, as well as the "beautiful views and amazing food" of the Vintage Teapot Tearoom "with [its] good vegetarian and vegan choices."

One Nub Voice volunteer said: "As someone who works locally it's been great to see the seats outside the bakery full of customers enjoying the sun.

"My wife was chuffed to get her hair cut and my dad was made up to get to the pub and meet up with his friends."

Although spending time in pubs and restaurants was top of the list for local residents, that much-needed post-lockdown haircut was definitely a firm second, with meeting friends not far behind.

We at Nub News have certainly enjoyed seeing Frodsham's streets come alive again, and are looking forward to what the summer has in store for the town!
