A Liverpool-based membership card rewards scheme is now inviting Frodsham and Helsby businesses to promote their services with customers from across the region.
Liverpool Girls is a 'one-stop-shop' for women, which currently targets the Liverpool area. Set up in 2018, it aims to create a platform for women's social interaction, opportunities for business networking and various different social events.
And for those who enjoy a bit of retail therapy, there's the Liverpool Girls Style Card, packed full of offers and rewards from different local businesses.
"I initially started Liverpool Girls as a community idea, but then after a while I decided that I wanted to expand this by creating a membership card that gives women access to discounts and free gifts from businesses across the Liverpool region," says owner, Sarah.
"The Style Card tagline is: 'what a woman wants, needs and would love to have in her life', so I'm after a broad range of businesses on the card.
"It doesn't just have to be the nicer things in life, like bistros, florists, health and wellbeing, it can be the practical ones too, like plumbers, solicitors, even estate agents!"
With the brand now expanding to Frodsham and Chester, Sarah is looking to welcome local businesses from within these areas to the growing community.
To grant the businesses on The Style Card the benefit of exclusivity, Sarah tries to limit the number of firms offering identical products or services to two per area.
The Liverpool Girls website currently has a page dedicated to Liverpool-based offers, but with the expansion to the Frodsham and Chester areas there will soon be an equivalent for people living this side of the Mersey.
And offers will be available to all card holders, regardless of which area they live in.
New brands are 'launched' across the Liverpool Girls Facebook pages and groups, Instagram accounts and newsletter, which is sent to all Style Card holders on a monthly basis.
Local businesses that sign up to be featured on the card will gain access to Liverpool Girls' growing social media audience of over 2,000 women, which is now spreading to include a Cheshire contingent.
"Being part of a community is important to me, so I do like to promote businesses that become Style Card partners," Sarah says. "If you have an event or something you want to publicise, let me know and if appropriate I will do some promotion for you!"
The business will also be featured continually on the Liverpool Girls website, with a direct link to their own website and products.
Liverpool Girls has its own blog section, with articles being produced connecting the business offers from firms in the same field, such as wedding suppliers.
"I'll focus on individual areas too. For example, I did one article about 'cake', where our lovely card partner, Little Miss Alice Cakes, gave advice about selecting a great baker and what to think about when you need a celebration cake."
Sarah is keen to establish a forum promoting the exchange of ideas, opinions and advice for women.
There's also a small Chester Girls Facebook group and with an open invitation to join and get involved, ask questions and look for recommendations. This comes alongside a new Chester Girls page on Instagram.
