Delamere Forest Live events cancelled

The organisers of Forest Live have announced that Doves and Keane will no longer be performing this summer at Delamere Forest, as all events are put back to 2022.

Keane were due to appear at the Forest on Saturday 18 June, with Doves following on the Sunday.

This put the concerts just two and three days before June 21, the earliest date that all legal limits on social contact could be removed.

The bands are now scheduled to perform on the same dates next year, with all tickets being carried over.

"We are sorry to have to tell you that the Government's roadmap out of lockdown has made it clear that we cannot hold our Forest Live concerts this summer," said a Forest Live spokesperson.

"We are extremely disappointed, but this is the best way to keep our valued customers safe, as well as the staff, volunteers, contractors and artists that make Forest Live possible.

"We would like to send our deepest apologies to everyone who was hoping to come to a Forest Live gig this summer."
