Former chief reporter for North West Tonight, Dave Guest, will be hosting a Cabinet Question Time with Cheshire West and Chester Council tonight (Thursday 3rd December).

This live event, which will run from 7pm-8:30pm, will allow local people to raise their questions on the current Council budget consultation.

Guest, who recently retired from presenting on North West Tonight, will be putting the public's questions to Cabinet.

You can read and comment on the Council's proposals for their 2021-2025 budget in the online consultation 'Unprecedented Times'.

Whilst watching the Question Time event, you will also be able to submit questions using the feedback button on the webcast.

Councillor Carol Gahan, Cabinet Member for Legal and Finance at Cheshire West and Chester Council said: "We have managed our financial position carefully, but we are facing a future funding gap that impacts on how services are provided.

"We'd like to encourage local residents to submit their questions via the website so that we can respond openly to queries around this vital process".

You can watch the Question Time webcast here.
