Crew called to fire in Delamere Forest

On Saturday afternoon (19 June), firefighters was called to Ashton Road outside Manley to tackle a fire in the Delamere Forest area.
A fire engine from Chester attended the scene at 3:52pm to find around seven trees reportedly alight.
Using beaters and water, the fire crew put out the flames before dampening down the area.
