After today, trains serving Frodsham and Helsby will be operating on a reduced Christmas timetable.

Services will continue as normal into the evening on Christmas Eve, but will begin to shut down from 8pm.

Therefore, the last direct service to Manchester Victoria will depart from Helsby at 20:30, stopping in Frodsham at 20:34. There will be two further trains to Manchester Piccadilly, involving a change in Chester.

Meanwhile, the last train out of Manchester stopping in Frodsham and Helsby will leave Piccadilly at 20:51.

The last direct train to Liverpool will leave Helsby at 19:37 and Frodsham at 19:41. After this time, services will involve two changes at Chester and Crewe.

The final train from Liverpool back to Frodsham at Helsby will depart from Lime Street at 20:38.

There will be no services at all on Christmas or Boxing Day. Trains will then resume on their normal Sunday timetable on December 27th and are expected to be busy.
