The Christmas in Frodsham working group are inviting local people to write cards for care home residents in Frodsham, Helsby and Kingsley, to help brighten the end of a difficult year.

With the help of the special 'post boxes' which have been put in place inside 15 local businesses, including Flowers by Jenny Penny, Care Love Pamper and Jilly's Breakfast and Lunch, you can send your card without having to pay for postage.

People wishing to take part can either add the name of the care home onto the envelope, or leave it blank, so that the cards can be shared out randomly.

The Christmas in Frodsham working group will then deliver the cards so that they can be quarantined before the big day. For this reason, the volunteers ask that the cards be left in a 'post box' by 21st December.

For more information, and post box locations, visit the Christmas in Frodsham Facebook page.
