Cheshire West and Chester Libraries are bringing together creatives and book lovers from across the borough, in their Christmas Countdown videos.

From shortbread baking tutorials to German Christmas stories brought to you by Chester's Storyhouse, every day brings new, creative ideas for fun festive activities.

For younger readers, there's the Winter Mini Challenge, where local children can log and review the books they have been reading over the Christmas period.

There's a certificate and a limited edition virtual badge for every child who reads three books or more and completes the Mini Challenge!
