The summer holidays are here and Frodsham is awash with fun events for people of all ages to enjoy!

So, what can you get up to around the town in the month of August?

Castle Park Live – Castle Park

Saturday 7 August

A quaint music and entertainment festival set in the picturesque Castle Park, Frodsham. Top quality tribute bands, imaginative workshops and tasty street food and drinks.

Castle Park Arts Centre exhibitions preview evening – Castle Park Arts Centre

Friday 13 August – 7pm-9pm

This is a chance to meet and chat with the artists and photographers who will be exhibiting at Castle Park Arts Centre in August, including Frodsham and District Photographic Society.

Teddy Bears Picnic events – Frodsham Children's Centre

Until Thursday 26 August

The Starting Well Service welcomes you back to face to face delivery in their Children's Centre outdoor areas.

Enjoy a summer packed with Teddy Bears Picnics story sharing, fun activities with visitors from libraries, Speech and Language and Brio.

A Night at the Opera – Frodsham Community Centre

Saturday 28 August – 7:30pm

Flat Pack Music are back at Frodsham Community Centre on Saturday 28 August with A Night at the Opera.

Join 4 professional soloists for a concert of operatic highlights you are sure to enjoy, featuring music from Carmen, La Boheme, Rigoletto, La Traviata, Don Giovanni and many more!

Festival in the Park – Castle Park

Sunday 29 August

Frodsham & Helsby Rotary Club is making preparations for its popular and long-running Festival in the Park event.

Covid-19 restrictions permitting, the Festival will take place on Sunday 29 August at Castle Park, beginning with an official opening by the Town Mayor at 12:30pm.

It will be a day full of fun activities, including the finish of the Frodsham Downhill Run, which has for many years attracted many competitors of all ages.

Rustic Wooden House Workshop – Kingsley Community Centre

Sunday 29 August – 2pm-4:30pm

Quill Paper Scissors is running a fun and creative wooden house making workshop using recycled materials.

Tai Chi for Beginners – Helsby Community Centre

Mondays from 3:45pm-4:45pm

Running from 3:45pm-4:45pm, this beginners' class will help to improve your breathing, balance and mobility, while allowing you to meet like-minded people.
