Helsby Scarecrow Trail is returning to local streets from the 24th-31st October, and is asking for entries under the theme of 'Children's Book Characters'.

Participants are asked to register their scarecrow to be in with a chance of winning a prize for the Best Residential, Best Commercial or Best Community Scarecrow.

This year, the competition will be free to enter, and people wishing to wander round the different scarecrows on display can download a map from the website.
