A second casual vacancy has arisen on Frodsham Town Council's Castle Park ward, this time to fill the post left by Cllr Pat Williamson.

On Tuesday, Frodsham Town Council also declared a vacancy created by former Cllr Mark Nield, inviting electors to request an election by writing to the Returning Officer of Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Ms Williamson had served for nearly five years, having been co-opted onto the Council in August 2016.

There are now 10 Councillors remaining on Frodsham Town Council, out of a maximum membership of 16.
