Frodsham festival Castle Park Live delayed until August

Frodsham festival Castle Park Live has been put back to Saturday 7 August after Cheshire West and Chester Council was placed under enhanced government support in its fight against local Delta variant outbreaks of Covid-19.

Castle Park Live had been planned to comply with current lockdown restrictions on social gatherings, but Cheshire West's rapidly rising coronavirus case rates made it difficult for the borough council to guarantee that the event would be able to take place.

Therefore, to avoid the possibility of a sudden cancellation, Castle Park Live organisers decided to delay by six weeks, by which point all lockdown restrictions will - hopefully - have been lifted.

This means that the event will be open to more people, who can buy their tickets here if they fancy a day of live music, circus shows, outdoor theatre, fair stalls and good food and drink.
