Another Frodsham Town Council vacancy on Castle Park ward

16th Jun 2021 | Local News

A casual vacancy has arisen on Frodsham Town Council's Castle Park ward.

The position was previously filled by Mark Nield, who served on the Council for over five years.

Castle Park residents will have a chance to vote for Mr Nield's replacement if ten electors from the ward write to the Returning Officer at Cheshire West and Chester Council requesting an election within the next two weeks.

If no election is called, the Town Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.

This is the third vacancy to be announced this week, meaning that there are now five councillor posts to be filled.
